The first time I walked into Alex Beard's studio/gallery and saw a sign that read "Be Inquisitive / Ask Questions" I knew I was in the company of an artist who genuinely cares about the people who are considering purchasing his creations. I usually avoid cliché but there's no better way to describe Alex than to say he's a "Renaissance Man." From a childhood influenced by family friend Andy Warhol to his life's dedication to protecting endangered African wildlife, Alex is the person who you both want to have over for dinner while being an honored collector of his paintings and drawings. - Stephen
